Staci Curtis

Staci is from a small Northern California mountain town and currently lives in Truckee, Ca. With over 500 hours of Yoga Alliance approved training, 4 years experience of teaching yoga, 5+ years teaching health and fitness, and 12+ years teaching dance; Staci truly looks at the entire body as a whole. Staci has had the privilege to study and learn around the globe in places such as North Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Huntington Beach, Morocco, India, and Thailand. She is an internationally recognized yoga teacher, has worked with firefighters and first responders for 4+ years, and leads SUP yoga classes during the summer months.

She specializes in teaching an alignment-based, dynamic vinyasa flow accessible to all levels of “yogis”; working with asana, meditation, pranayama, and intention.

Staci received her associate's degree in dance in 2009, completed her 200 hour Yoga Alliance yoga teacher training in 2016 in Truckee, studying the practice of Bhakti yoga, and completed her 300 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in 2019 in India, studying Holistic Yoga Therapy. She has completed level I and II Reiki training, TRX suspension, and ripped training courses and studied Thai massage. She has nearly 15 years of experience teaching dance and other fitness classes.

Yoga is like a slow-motion dance for her. So you will see elements of dance blended into her sequences. You will see elements of yoga blended into her choreography. You can feel her love for this movement every time she leads you.

Movement is medicine. It moves and removes stuck energy. It clears the mind. It lifts the soul. Ever feeling too serious about life?… move your body! Dance it out. Flow it out. Work it out. However you do it, just move it. And feel the freedom it brings.

That’s what she hopes to bring you to her class. Whatever it is she’s teaching.. yoga, dance, TRX, cardio, and strength training, she hopes it brings you exactly what your soul needs.

When she’s not on the yoga mat, you can try to find Staci cruising through the trees on a powder day, enjoying some waves in the ocean, maneuvering down a mountainside on her mountain bike, floating on any type of body of water, or taking a hike to anywhere with an amazing view.
