Limited to twelve participants. Please register early! Relaxation is one of the most difficult skills to master. Wherever you fall on the broad spectrum of stress, this session of gentle Yoga will calm you. Be expertly guided to progressively relax and balance nervous system responses during a sequence of long-held restorative yoga poses. Simple meditation, quietude, comfort and deep rest characterize this experience. Restorative Yoga is a practice of “being” rather than “doing.” In this workshop, your body will be fully propped in order to release all physical effort, supporting a deeply relaxed mental state where you can access internal peace and spaciousness. We will practice mindful movement, including trauma-sensitive breath exercises, mudras and marmas to improve our capacity to handle stress, and increase our resiliency. This approach effectively blends theory and research findings from the fields of neuroscience, trauma psychology, occupational therapy and Yoga philosophy. Sensory-Enhanced Yoga® for Self-Regulation and Trauma Healing is an evidence-based approach to balancing PTSD and complex PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, sleep disorders, combat/military/first responder stress and other unresolved traumas, including sexual trauma, substance use, chronic illness, chronic pain and burnout fatigue. Gentle enough for those who are recovering from injury. Cancellation Policy

OMNI Studio class bookings can be canceled without charge 3hrs prior to class, and 8hrs prior to aerial classes. Any cancelation after these thresholds will be considered a charged visit.
