Aerial Lyra Workshop

Service Description

In this one and half hour workshop, students will explore beginner to intermediate level training practices, tricks, and sequencing on lyra (aka aerial hoop). The workshop will begin with a 15 minute floor warmup (yoga mats encouraged), followed by a 15 minute conditioning warmup students can use for their at home training. The remainder of class time will focus on breaking down lyra tricks and sequences so that by the end of class students will have a flow they can dance out and make their own. While no experience is necessary to participate, it is worth noting that aerial arts are a challenging workout that will test your strength, flexibility, and endurance. Many students require consistent training in order to reach their aerial goals - if you can’t do it the first time, don’t be discouraged! Hard work, consistency, and passion pays off. What To Bring: Yoga mat Yoga attire (covering the tummy, armpits, and ankles may be preferable and more comfortable for students) Lyras! Two lyras will be provided at this workshop. If you have your own lyra and/or spanset, please bring it with you. Water bottle Notebook and pen/pencil

Cancellation Policy

OMNI Studio class bookings can be canceled without charge 3hrs prior to class, and 8hrs prior to aerial classes. Any cancelation after these thresholds will be considered a charged visit.
