My name is Nicole Sklar and i have been practicing yoga for 11 years. My journey began when I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 15. A doctor suggested to pick up the practice or to plan on surgery. My practice since then has become more spiritual as i continue to learn how to take my practice off of the mat in every day. When Im not in a studio, I enjoy distance trail running, hiking, and making art; most recently in the form of jewelry.
I graduated with a bachelors degree in Human Ecology from Prescott College in 2014. I spent 3 years studying abroad in Latin America fascinated by many cultures there within my college career. In 2012 I went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for my 200 hour Yoga Alliance Hatha yoga certification. It wasn´t until 2016 that i began to professionally teach.
